Short, in plain English, and honest about the parts that matter — what PageWisr promises, what it does not, and what happens if either of us wants out.
PageWisr is operated by Sayan, an independent developer. Using the site, running a scan or paying for Pro means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
If you are using PageWisr for a company, you are confirming you are allowed to agree to this on its behalf.
PageWisr opens a web page, looks at what is on it and produces a written evaluation with a score. That evaluation is an opinion generated by software — a well-informed one, anchored to what is actually on the page, but still an opinion.
It is not legal, financial, accessibility, security or professional advice, and a score is not a guarantee of traffic, rankings, revenue or anything else. What you do with the findings is your call.
Accounts are created through Google sign-in. One account is for one person; keep access to it to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it.
Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, including scans that spend your allowance and subscriptions started from it.
By submitting an address you confirm you have the right to have that page fetched and analysed — because you own it, work on it, or it is a public page you are entitled to study.
Do not use PageWisr to:
Also off limits, for the obvious reasons:
Ordinary human use is never the problem. If you want to build something on top of this, ask — sayan@pagewisr.com.
Free gives one account one full scan of one website. Pro is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year, billed through our payment provider, and renews automatically until you cancel.
Payments are final — the refund policy explains exactly why, and the few cases where we put things right anyway.
Your website stays yours. Nothing about running a scan gives us any claim over it — we only need permission to fetch the page, store what we captured and show it back to you in your report.
Your reports are yours to use however you like: send them around, publish them, paste the fixes into your own site. The PageWisr name, the software behind it and the way reports are built stay ours.
Reports are private until you turn on a public link or list the site in the ranking. Only list sites you actually control, and only when you are happy for the score to be public.
The first account to list a host keeps it, so nobody can publish a score for a site somebody else already registered. We may remove a listing that is spam, impersonation, illegal or plainly abusive — and you can remove yours at any time, from the report itself.
PageWisr is provided as it is. It is run by one person, so there is no uptime guarantee: scans can fail, a page may refuse to load, a model can be slow, and features can change or be retired.
We do not warrant that a report is complete, that every finding is correct, or that acting on one will improve any particular number. Read it as a strong second opinion, not as a certification.
To the extent the law allows, PageWisr is not liable for lost profit, lost data, lost customers or any indirect damage arising from using it — including a decision you made because of something a report said.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you are on the free plan, that amount is nothing, which is the honest trade for a product that costs nothing.
You can stop whenever you like: cancel the subscription, or ask us to delete the account entirely and it is gone, as described in the privacy policy.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service or puts other people at risk. Where it is fair to, we will say what happened first and give you a chance to fix it.
These terms will change as the product does. The date at the top of the page changes with them, and anything that materially affects paying subscribers is emailed rather than quietly edited. Continuing to use PageWisr after a change means the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If the consumer law where you live gives you rights this agreement cannot remove, those rights still stand.
